For most of us, a broken air conditioner is an uncomfortable inconvenience. For a senior in Dallas, it can be life-threatening. Our Beat the Heat campaign makes it possible for The Senior Source to provide relief from the heat to Dallas area older adults who lack access to cool air in their homes.

Bigger and Better Than Ever!
Our annual air conditioner give away for 2024 will be new and improved. Not only will seniors without a source of cool air get a free air conditioner, but the event will also offer connections with other community resources. We will have 12 vendors with giveaways, including TXU, Any Step Community Services, and the Senior Source’s Utility Assistance Service.
