Ways to Stay Cool in the Summer Heat

The Senior Source’s “Beat the Heat” program has concluded and was a success, but here are a few ways that can help you stay cool. The Senior Source is still here to help you in every way we can.

Below you will find a list of resources to help give you some relief in this heat. Some of them are also offering a free window unit air conditioner for those who qualify.

Additionally, The Senior Source has “Utility Assistance Day” on a walk-in basis at our offices from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month. This may provide some relief on the payment of certain utilities. Please follow the link that follows for more information, including what things you need to bring with you.
