The Senior Source donors gathered at the beautiful home of Ashley and Marcus Allen for the annual Spirit of Generations Patron Party, sponsored by Texas Capital Bank on February 6, 2024. The Patron Party included the luncheon’s table sponsors and underwriters. Amy Hegi is serving as luncheon chair alongside her sister-in-law, Libby Hegi as Individual Underwriting Chair and Kyle Miller, Blake Estess and Mike Sweet as the Corporate Underwriting Committee.

This year The Senior Source is celebrating Louise and Guy Griffeth at the 30th annual Spirit of Generations luncheon on Friday, March 1, 2024 at the Hilton Anatole hotel. The agency will also be honoring the Molly H. Bogen Service Award recipients Betty and John R Taylor, Jr. and their son John Taylor III, for their combined 60 years of service to the agency.

A brief program was kicked off by The Senior Source’s Board Chair, Rebecca Wynne, who thanked Ashley and Marcus for opening their home and was thrilled to celebrate the longstanding success of the luncheon. Stacey Malcolmson, President & CEO of The Senior Source, drew attention to The Senior Source board members in attendance and the past honorees who were in the room including Micki and the Honorable Michael Rawlings, Becky Bright, Kathy Helm and Julie and Jim Turner. She also shared the significance of the 30 years of impact this luncheon has had on the agency in deepening our recognition in the community as a trusted resource for age-related needs.

Amy Hegi shared that the agency achieved its underwriting goal and is now on a mission to raise $1MM for the luncheon. She thanked everyone for their support of The Senior Source and the Griffeth’s for their impact on the Dallas community. Louise Griffeth, humbled by this honor, expressed to the crowd that she thought she knew everything about The Senior Source until she attended an agency tour. Learning about the essential services and collaborations of the agency made her realize how vital The Senior Source is and how lucky Dallas citizens are to have it in their backyard. Roy Popham, representing Texas Capital Bank, shared how special it is to be involved with the work The Senior Source is doing.

Other guests at the Patron Party included board members Harsh Agarwal, Dave Beran, Pam Busbee, Bob Dill (and Ellen), Scott Chase (and Debra Whitter), Shannon Freeze-Flory, Chad Park (and Rita Ne), Trey Pugh, Tammy Richards (and Mike Douglass), Todd Nordeen, Dee Velvin (and Trey), Bob White (and Brenda) and Paige Wilbur. Other guests in attendance included Christie Carter, Betsy and Richard Eiseman, Elizabeth and Eric Gambrell, Suzy and Larry Gekiere, and Debbie and Nickey Oates.

Don’t miss out on three great raffle items including a handbag and jewelry from Carolina Herrara, an all-star sports package to a 2024 Texas Rangers and Mavericks game, a Southwest Airlines Getaway, and the ever-popular $2,500 in Central Market gift cards. Raffle tickets can be purchased even if you are not able to attend the luncheon.
