World Romance Scam Prevention Day

Thursday, October 3, is recognized as World Romance Scam Prevention Day.  Romance Scams are becoming more and more prevalent, with older adults being the main targets for financial abuse. With the intention of bringing light to these horrific crimes against humanity, we are co-leading an event at UNT-Dallas, with some tremendous speakers, including our own Financial Counselor, Steve Benton.  The event is free to anyone interested in learning more about these crimes and how we can come together to prevent this human tragedy.
