Course Description

Ready to take the first step and learn about computers? This course will introduce the new user to computers, starting with the components that make up a computer system and how to use the mouse and keyboard. This course also covers basic Windows 10 skills, including launching apps, the Start menu, and working with the desktop and Windows. This comprehensive course introduces the new user to computer hardware and terminology, covers the basics of using Windows 10, takes you on a tour of the Internet, teaches you how to stay safe online by recognizing and avoiding scams and malicious websites, and guides you through setting up and using a new Gmail account.
