Join us as our guest speaker, Ruth Larkin, HR Manager at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, helps you navigate today’s job market!
Ruth started her career in the field of HR in the early 1990s in Southern California. She has worked in the construction and building industry, hospitality and restaurant operations and is currently the Associate Director of HR and Administration at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in downtown Dallas. In the early 2000s, Ruth found herself ‘washed up’ on the shore of being in middle age with no college degree which led to a lot of rejections for jobs. She went back to school, graduating with a B.S. in Sociology from UNT in 2020, and then a master’s degree in HR Management from the University of Arizona in 2022.
