While older adults in nursing homes sheltered in place to stay safe amid the Coronavirus pandemic, we made sure their emotional well-being were taken care of.
We created “virtual visits” between senior residents and our pool of volunteers from corporations, church groups, Girl and Boy Scout troops, and social clubs as well as individuals and families. Volunteers sent donations and cards to cheer up seniors to let them know that others care.
